Tilloo Pond was built by local master craftsmen from a long line of Bahamian ship builders. The reinforced concrete structure with tightly fitted wood soffits was built to withstand the forces of mother nature and far surpass the most rigid building codes anywhere.
The foundations’ exteriors are battered sloped walls of hand-fitted stone and concrete. The main foundation contains 100,000 gallon water holding tanks with rain collection and reverse osmosis
